Thank you for your participation in this activity. Below you will see a summary of the responses we collected for this survey. The word cloud above shows the most frequently used words when the class was asked to define "makerspace". We can see that "Space", "Create", and "Tools" are the words that show up most often! The survey results confirm with our venture analysis that many find makerspaces becoming increasingly common and important in attaining their educational goals most likely in the next 2-3 years, even though more than half of the respondents had not participated in makerspaces before. Many of the class agreed that challenges from lack of funding and space can be major hindrances for implementation of makerspaces at their workplace to be successful.
